Hunza High Power Wall Down Light with Integral Driver - Powder Coat - Mains

A higher output wash light for bigger surfaces

The Hunza High Power Wall Down Light is built for jobs where the standard Down Light doesn't put out enough light, taller walls, larger gable ends, or commercial elevations. It keeps the same fixed head, one direction wash principle, but with a higher output LED and its own driver built into the fitting rather than a separate remote unit.

The finned body and powder coated finish

You'll notice the body has a finned, heat sink style casing rather than the smooth cylinder of the standard Down Light, there to manage the heat a higher output LED produces. Hunza then adds an extra powder coat layer on High Power fittings specifically for additional corrosion protection, on top of the standard seven colour options: Black, Dark Grey, White, Birch, Bronze, Olive Green and Silver Star.

How it works

The driver is integral, so there's no separate remote driver to install elsewhere in the circuit, unlike Hunza's standard low voltage PureLED fittings. At the point of ordering you choose colour temperature (2700K, 3000K or 4000K), beam angle (15°, 30°, 40° or 70°) and lens (clear or frosted). At around 130mm long with a 63mm head diameter and 58mm mounting bracket, it's a noticeably larger fitting than the standard Down Light, reflecting its higher output.

Where it works best

This is the fitting to reach for when a standard Down Light would be underpowered, tall building elevations, larger commercial fascias, or garden walls where you need the wash to carry further and read clearly rather than fade halfway up.
