Small, Tough and Safe Underfoot

Not every garden needs a big in ground uplight. The Hunza Safe Touch 50 gives high quality light from a smaller fitting, with a cool running lens, low energy use and minimal maintenance. It was designed first and foremost for public safety, which also makes it a reassuring choice for family gardens. You can rotate the gimbal a full 360 degrees and tilt it 0 to 20 degrees to aim the beam. This is the low voltage version, available with or without a canister.

316 Stainless Steel in a Brushed Finish

The body is marine grade 316 stainless steel, which keeps a consistent brushed appearance. It can acquire a light surface tarnish in some environments, so give it a wash now and then. Hunza adds an extra powder coat layer to its High Power range to protect against corrosion.

How It Works

• A replaceable Cree LED chip delivers 1200 lumens in total at 700mA, CRI 90 or more at 3000K.
• Choose from 2700K, 3000K and 4000K, with 15, 30, 40 or 70 degree beams.
• The cut out is 150mm and cable is supplied. The product specification has more dimensional detail.
• Low voltage, series wiring, 18Vf. It needs a remote LED driver, sold separately.
• Dimmable if paired with a suitable dimmable driver.
• Built to cope with vehicles at up to 10km/h (6mph) and a load rating of 2000kg (4400lbs).
• Rated IP67 (not for pools or ponds) with a 10 year warranty, and 5 years on the LED.

Where It Works Best

• Set into lawn beside a young tree to bring out its shape at night
• Beside steps or a patio where a cool lens is a sensible choice
• Close to a modern rendered wall to graze it with a narrow beam
• In decking or paving where a modest, flush fitting is better than a large one

Our team has used Hunza fittings since 2003. We design lighting schemes for gardens, supply the fittings and install them in real gardens. • Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
• Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.

• Stainless steel may pick up a light surface tarnish here and there, which a wash removes.
