A Bronze Uplight With Its Own Driver

This Hunza Safe Touch 150 combines a solid bronze body with an integral driver, so it connects to the mains without any extra box to find a home for. The design priority throughout was safety in public places: a cool lens, high quality light and a body made to take weight. The adjustable gimbal turns 360 degrees and tilts 0 to 20 degrees, and the fitting arrives with its canister.

Solid Bronze, Left to Age Gracefully

The bronze here is solid through, not a coating. Hunza expects it to weather outdoors and gain a patina, so the colour will gradually change from bright and warm as it settles into the garden. If you want something that stays exactly as it arrived, the same fitting is made in 316 stainless steel. A further powder coat layer is added across the High Power range to protect against corrosion.

How It Works

• Integral driver and parallel wiring, so it is a straightforward mains connection.
• Replaceable Cree LED chip, 5000 lumens in total at 1400mA, CRI 90 or more at 3000K.
• Available in 2700K, 3000K and 4000K, with beam angles of 22, 33 and 51 degrees and a clear or frosted lens.
• Canister depth 330mm, flange diameter 265mm, cut out 179mm, with cable supplied.
• This version is not dimmable.
• Maximum vehicle speed 10km/h (6mph) and maximum load rating 2000kg (4400lbs).
• IP68, not for pools or ponds, with a 10 year warranty (5 years on the LED).
