An In Ground Light Built to Be Driven Over
The Hunza Safe Touch 150 is a recessed in ground uplight designed with public safety as its first priority. It gives a strong, clean beam while the lens stays cool, so it suits drives, plazas and busy paths as well as private gardens. A fully adjustable gimbal rotates 360 degrees and tilts from 0 to 20 degrees, letting you aim it exactly at a tree, wall or feature. This is the low voltage version and it is supplied with its canister.
Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel
The body is marine grade 316 stainless steel with a consistent brushed finish. In some environments stainless can pick up a light surface tarnish, and a regular wash keeps that in check. Like every Hunza High Power fitting, it also carries an extra powder coat layer for maximum corrosion protection.
How It Works
- A replaceable Cree LED chip gives 5000 lumens in total at 1400mA, with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
- Choose 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, a beam angle of 22, 33 or 51 degrees, and a clear or frosted lens when you order.
- The canister is 330mm deep and the flange has a 265mm diameter. The cut out size is 179mm and the fitting is supplied with cable.
- Low voltage and wired in series at 37Vf, so it needs a remote LED driver, sold separately. This version is not dimmable.
- Built for traffic: maximum vehicle speed over it is 10km/h (6mph), with a maximum load rating of 2000kg (4400lbs).
- Rated IP68 (not for use in pools or ponds) and backed by a 10 year warranty, with 5 years on the LED.
- If you would rather not run low voltage cable, a mains version with an integral driver is also made.

- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- The LED is built in and the canister is supplied.
- Needs a remote LED driver, sold separately, and the circuit should be planned by your electrician.
- Stainless steel can show a light surface tarnish in some settings. Washing it regularly keeps it looking right.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
