Safe, Cool Running Light Set Into the Ground
The Hunza Safe Touch 100 with integral driver is a mains powered in ground light, made with public safety as its main goal. The lens runs cool, power use is low and maintenance is minimal, while the optics produce a bright, pure beam. It is waterproof and robust, so it works in public squares as well as domestic gardens.
Brushed 316 Stainless Steel
Marine grade 316 stainless steel gives a clean, consistent brushed look. In some environments it can pick up a light surface tarnish, and washing it regularly keeps it in check. Hunza gives its High Power range an extra powder coat layer for maximum corrosion protection. This fitting is made to order, non returnable unless faulty, and cannot be cancelled once ordered.
How It Works
- The driver is integral, so it runs from the mains with no separate driver, and it is wired in parallel.
- Adjustable gimbal: 360 degrees of rotation and 0 to 20 degrees of elevation.
- Cree replaceable LED chip, 2700 lumens in total at 700mA, CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
- Choose 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, a beam angle of 13, 20, 25 or 34 degrees, and a clear or frosted lens.
- Canister length 252mm and diameter 137mm, flange diameter 172mm and depth 18mm. Cut out 137mm.
- Not dimmable.
- Rated IP68 but not for pools or ponds. Warranty is 10 years, or 5 years on the LED.

- Maximum drive over speed 10km/h (6 mph), with a load rating of 2000kg (4400lb).
- Supplied with canister and cable.
- Stainless steel can develop a light surface tarnish in some settings. Regular washing helps.
- Mains voltage, so a qualified electrician should carry out the connection.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
