Mains Powered Ground Light in Solid Bronze
This is the mains version of the Hunza Safe Touch 100, with the driver built into the fitting. It is an in ground luminaire designed around public safety: high output light, a lens that stays cool, low energy use and very little maintenance. Waterproof and tough, it is made for squares, entrances and residential gardens.
Solid Bronze, Left to Age
The body is solid bronze, a natural finish that Hunza intends to weather and develop patina outdoors. When new it is bright and warm, and with time it turns a deeper brown. An extra powder coat layer, applied to all Hunza High Power products, adds corrosion protection. The fitting is made to order and non returnable unless faulty, and it cannot be cancelled once ordered.
How It Works
- Mains powered with an integral driver, so no separate driver is needed. Wired in parallel.
- Gimbal rotates 360 degrees and elevates 0 to 20 degrees.
- Cree replaceable LED chip with 2700 lumens in total at 700mA and CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
- Pick 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, beams of 13, 20, 25 or 34 degrees, and a clear or frosted lens.
- The canister is 252mm long by 137mm across, with a flange 172mm in diameter and 18mm deep, for a 137mm cut out.
- Not dimmable.
- IP68 rated, not suitable for pools or ponds, with a 10 year warranty and 5 years on the LED.

- In a gravel drive or paved forecourt, uplighting the house front
- Next to a gate pier or statue to pick it out at night
- Within a lawn or planting bed, lighting a tree from below
- Where a mains supply is available and you would like to avoid a remote driver

- Vehicles may drive over it at up to 10km/h (6 mph), to a load rating of 2000kg (4400lb).
- Canister and cable are included.
- This is a mains fitting, so connection should be made by a qualified electrician.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Is a separate driver needed?
No. The driver is integral, and the fitting needs no extra driver.
Will the bronze change over time?
Yes. Solid bronze is designed to weather, starting bright and warm and deepening to brown.
How far can I tilt it?
The gimbal elevates from 0 to 20 degrees and rotates through 360 degrees.
Can it be dimmed?
No. This version is not dimmable.
