Tough Ground Lighting for Busy Places
The Hunza Safe Touch 100 is a recessed ground light that puts public safety first. Its optics give a clean, high output beam, while the lens stays cool, energy use is low and upkeep is minimal. Fully waterproof and very durable, it suits public spaces, large projects and private gardens alike. This low voltage model is made in 316 stainless steel.
Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel
Stainless steel keeps a consistent brushed look in the weather, although in some environments a light surface tarnish can form, which regular washing keeps in check. Hunza also adds an extra powder coat layer to its High Power range for maximum corrosion protection. The fitting is made to order and non returnable unless faulty, and an order cannot be cancelled once placed.
How It Works
- The adjustable gimbal turns 360 degrees and elevates from 0 to 20 degrees, so you can aim the beam after installation.
- A replaceable Cree LED chip delivers 2700 lumens in total at 700mA, with CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
- Options are 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, beam angles of 13, 20, 25 or 34 degrees, and a clear or frosted lens.
- The canister is 252mm long and 137mm in diameter, with a 172mm flange that is 18mm deep. Cut out size is 137mm.
- Low voltage at 37Vf, wired in series, with a remote driver required.
- Not dimmable.
- IP68 rated, not for pools or ponds, and backed by a 10 year warranty with 5 years on the LED.

How We Plan and Install Hunza Lighting
Moonlight Design has worked with Hunza since 2003. We design lighting schemes for gardens, supply Hunza fittings and install them with NICEIC registered electricians. Good to Know
- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Non returnable unless faulty, and cannot be cancelled once ordered.
- Drive over speed up to 10km/h (6 mph) and a load rating of 2000kg (4400lb).
- Canister and cable are supplied.
- A remote driver is needed, and the series wiring should be planned by your electrician.
- Stainless steel can show a light surface tarnish in some settings.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

How much light does it give?
The LED gives 2700 lumens in total at 700mA.
Is the LED replaceable?
Yes. It uses a Cree replaceable LED chip, with a 5 year warranty on the LED and 10 years on the fitting.
Can it go in a pond or pool?
No. It is IP68 rated but is not for use in pools or ponds.
Does it need a driver?
Yes. This low voltage version needs a remote driver and is wired in series.
