A Mains Floor Uplighter Without the Transformer
Hunza Floor Light Louvre Square GU10 is a shallow, walk on uplighter for people who want to avoid low voltage cabling. It runs straight from the mains, so there is no transformer to hide and no driver to size. A 7mm deep square flange with 45 degree angle cuts frames the opening neatly, and the light rises to graze brickwork, a fence or a tree trunk.
316 Stainless Steel for a Clean Metal Look
Made from marine grade 316 stainless steel, this fitting holds a uniform brushed appearance. It can acquire a light surface tarnish in some environments, and washing it regularly keeps that under control. Colours are indicative only, and swatches are available on request.
How It Works
- Mains powered, so no driver or transformer is needed.
- Takes a GU10 lamp, sold separately. Use a Hunza approved LED to maintain the IP rating and warranty.
- Flange 88mm wide and 7mm deep, set on a mounting canister 76mm across and 148mm long with a 100mm base.
- The mounting canister is included in the box.
- Wired in parallel. Rated IP67 with a 10 year warranty.

- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- The GU10 lamp is not supplied.
- Light tarnish can appear on stainless steel in some locations and is removed by washing.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Does this need a transformer?
No. It is a mains fitting and does not need a driver or transformer.
Which lamp should I fit?
A Hunza approved GU10 LED. It is sold separately, and using it keeps the IP rating and warranty valid.
Can it cope with being walked on?
Yes. It has a flat, low profile flange that is designed to be walked on without damage.
Is the stainless steel marine grade?
Yes. The fitting is made from marine grade 316 stainless steel.
