Copper Uplighting with the Glare Turned Down
The Hunza Floor Light Darklighter is a compact uplighter with minimal glare. The interior is finished in matt black for further glare control, so you notice the light on the wall or tree rather than the fitting itself. This is the copper low voltage version, supplied with a mounting canister.
Solid Copper That Settles In
Made from solid copper, the Darklighter is meant to weather outdoors. Bright and warm at first, it moves through brown and eventually to a soft green. If you want a steadier look, the stainless steel Darklighter is the alternative.
The Details
- Matt black interior for extra glare control.
- Canister 76mm in diameter and 203mm long, on a 100mm base, with 1m of cable. It is longer than the standard Floor Light, which is 148mm.
- Flange 88mm in diameter and 3mm deep, with a 63.5mm cut out.
- No lamp supplied. It takes a MR16 lamp, and a Hunza approved LED must be used to maintain the IP rating and warranty.
- Low voltage, wired in parallel, and it requires a transformer.
- IP67 rated with a 10 year warranty.

- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- The lamp is not included and should be a Hunza approved LED.
- A transformer is needed for this low voltage fitting.
- Copper patinas with age, which is normal and not a fault.
- Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting is installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
