A Small Spike Light for Low Planting
The Hunza Fern Light is made for the lower layer of the garden, where ferns, hostas and other low foliage sit. It is a compact low voltage spike light that adds a quiet touch to a lighting scheme without drawing attention to itself. Here it is in brushed stainless steel.
Brushed 316 Stainless Steel
The metal is marine grade 316 stainless steel with a consistent brushed finish. It can pick up a light surface tarnish in some environments, so an occasional wash keeps it clean and bright.
How It Works
- Light leaves through a UV stable polycarbonate lens with an anti glare mesh, all the way round 360 degrees.
- An anti glare hood sends most of the light downwards, below the horizontal plane.
- Hood diameter 140mm, body diameter 63.5mm and length 135mm, with a 145mm spike and 1m of cable.
- Low voltage and wired in parallel, so it needs a transformer, sold separately.
- The lamp is not supplied. A Hunza approved LED keeps the IP rating and warranty in place.
- IP66 rated with a 10 year warranty.
- A GU10 mains version is also available.

- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- You will need to buy a lamp and a transformer separately.
- Stainless steel can tarnish lightly in some environments. Regular washing helps.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
