Hunza Fern Light GU10 & Contoured Hood - Copper - Mains

A Copper Spike Light With a Contoured Hood

Part of the Hunza Fern Light family, this GU10 version has a contoured hood and is made in copper. It is designed for low level foliage, and it runs on mains voltage, so there is no transformer to bury or connect. A UV stable polycarbonate lens with anti glare mesh gives light all the way round, 360 degrees, and the hood pushes most of it down below the horizontal towards the soil and leaves.

Copper That Develops Its Own Character

The body is solid copper, a high purity alloy that Hunza specifies at a minimum of 99.9 percent copper. It looks bright and warm when new, turns brown as the months go by, and eventually shifts to a soft green. Hunza designs it to weather like this and notes that the patina acts as a protective layer against further corrosion, so you should not treat the change as a fault. It rewards a garden where the planting also matures and softens.

• GU10 lamp not supplied. A Hunza approved LED maintains the IP rating and warranty.

• Copper will darken and patina outdoors, which is normal.
• The GU10 lamp is a separate purchase.
