A Slim Copper Bollard for Garden Paths

The Hunza Bollard 700mm on a spike is a slim post of solid copper that lights the ground around it and the planting beyond. Pushed into a border or lawn edge, it suits gardens, driveways, walkways and car parks. This is the low voltage version, and the same bollard is also made as a GU10 mains fitting.

Solid Copper That Weathers Naturally

This bollard is solid copper rather than a painted or plated surface, and Hunza designs it to be left outside and allowed to patina. It starts bright and warm, deepens to brown over the seasons and eventually turns a soft green, much like a copper roof. If you would rather have a finish that stays put, the bollard is also made in 316 stainless steel and powder coated aluminium.

How It Works

• A mirror finish, twin angle reflector sits behind a UV stable acrylic lens with an anti glare mesh.
• The reflector sends light two ways at once: straight down onto the ground and out sideways to light the surrounding landscape.
• The body is 63.5mm in diameter and 685mm tall, supplied with 1m of cable.
• Low voltage and wired in parallel, so it needs a transformer, sold separately.
• The lamp is not supplied. To keep the IP rating and warranty, a Hunza approved LED MR16 lamp must be used.
• Rated IP66 with a 10 year warranty.

• Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
• Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
• The lamp is sold separately and must be a Hunza approved LED.
• A transformer is needed, also sold separately.
• Copper will darken and patina outdoors. This is normal and not a fault.
• We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Questions People Ask

Does this bollard come with a lamp?
No. The lamp is bought separately, and it must be a Hunza approved LED to keep the IP66 rating and the warranty.

Will the copper stay shiny?
No. Solid copper is a natural finish that moves from bright copper to brown and then green as it weathers outdoors.

Which way does the light go?
The twin angle reflector throws light down onto the ground and horizontally across the surrounding landscape.

Can I run it straight from the mains?
No. This is the low voltage version and needs a transformer. A GU10 mains version of the bollard is also made.
