Copper Light for a Hard Surface Setting

Fixed to a firm surface, the surface flange mounted Hunza Bollard 300mm rises 370mm and gives a low, warm light for gardens, drives, walkways and car parks. A twin angle reflector with a mirror finish divides the light between the ground and the horizontal, so the paving is lit and the surroundings are gently picked out. An anti glare mesh behind the UV stable acrylic lens softens the view of the source.

Solid Copper That Deepens With Age

This one is solid copper, and Hunza intends it to weather. Bright and warm at first, it moves through brown and can turn soft green over time, which is the same story as a copper roof. Nothing is wrong when that happens. For a finish that stays the same, look at the 316 stainless steel or powder coated aluminium versions.

• Two reflector angles, finished to a mirror shine, direct light down and outward.

• Lamp sold separately. This fitting uses MR16, and only a Hunza approved LED lamp will maintain the IP rating and warranty.
• Low voltage and parallel wired, so you need a transformer.
• IP66 rated and backed by a 10 year warranty.

• Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
• Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
• Solid copper will darken and patinate outdoors. This is normal and not a fault.
• Lamp and transformer are sold separately.
• We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Questions People Ask

Will the copper turn green?
It can. Copper darkens to brown first and may eventually develop a soft green patina, as Hunza designs it to do.

How tall is it?
It stands 370mm high with a body diameter of 63.5mm.

Is it suitable for a hard surface?
Yes. It is a surface flange mounted version, intended to be fixed to a firm surface.

Do I need to buy the lamp separately?
Yes. The MR16 lamp is not supplied, and a Hunza approved LED keeps the IP66 rating and warranty.
