Copper on a Spike, Ready to Age Gracefully

This spike mounted Hunza Bollard 300mm brings a warm metal glow to borders, drives and walkways. Push the 145mm spike in where you want it and the twin angle reflector does the rest, throwing light down onto the ground and out across the garden at the same moment. The reflector has a mirror finish, and the UV stable acrylic lens has an anti glare mesh across it.

Solid Copper With a Natural Patina

Solid copper is a natural finish. Hunza designs it to be left outside and to patinate, so a new bollard starts bright and warm, deepens to brown over the seasons, and may in time take on a soft green. Do not expect it to stay shiny, because that change is how copper behaves. Stainless steel and powder coated aluminium versions of this bollard are available if you want something steadier.

How It Works

• Light is directed to the ground and horizontally by a mirror finish reflector.
• Anti glare mesh and a UV stable acrylic lens protect the view.
• Overall diameter 63.5mm and height 300mm, with a 145mm spike and 1m of cable.
• The fitting takes an MR16 lamp, supplied separately. Choose a Hunza approved LED lamp so the IP rating and warranty stay valid.
• It is low voltage and wired in parallel, and needs a transformer.
• IP66 rated, with a 10 year warranty.
• A GU10 mains option also exists for this bollard.

• Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
• Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
• The copper will change colour outdoors. That is expected and not a fault.
• You will need to buy the lamp and the transformer separately.
• We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Questions People Ask

What happens to copper outdoors?
It darkens from bright copper to brown and can eventually turn soft green. Hunza designs it to patinate in this way.

How high does the bollard stand?
The overall height is 300mm, and the spike is 145mm.

Is the lamp included?
No. An MR16 lamp is required and must be a Hunza approved LED to keep the warranty.
