A smoked glass shade gives this gold based Humble Two a moodier, more atmospheric glow, well suited to bar tables, dinner settings or a bedroom that wants light with real atmosphere rather than brightness for its own sake.

Choosing Gold and Smoked Glass

Gold brings a warm polish to the base, and the smoked glass shade holds the light closer and darker than the frosted version, better suited to a considered, low key glow. For a brighter, more evenly spread light from the same gold base, the frosted glass version is the alternative.

How It Works

Inside the dome, a G4 LED source rated 0.45W at 5V and 2600K runs through candle, ambiance and work modes, from a flickering low glow to genuine task light. A full charge takes 4 to 6 hours for up to 96 hours of use, with runtime varying by brightness, 12 to 17 hours on high, 22 to 30 on medium, 70 to 95 hours on the lowest setting. Two is wet rated and measures 3.5 inches across and 8.3 inches tall.

Where It Works Best

The smoked glass dome's deeper glow suits a bar table or an evening dinner setting where atmosphere matters more than raw brightness, and works equally well beside a bed for a softer night time light. Being wet rated, it also moves outdoors onto a covered terrace without issue.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2018 by Jorren Teertstra with fellow Dutch industrial design engineers Gert, Tom, Lenny and Douwe, Humble set out to build a wireless alternative to candlelight.
