Finished entirely in a soft beige, the Humble Two brings a calm, understated glow to dining tables, bedside tables and reading corners alike. Its domed shade directs light straight down, lighting the table rather than the room around it.

Choosing Beige

An all beige finish keeps Two quietly in the background of a room, letting the light do the work rather than the lamp itself. For a shade with more texture in a similar neutral palette, the beige linen version pairs the same base with a woven shade instead.

How It Works

Inside the dome sits a G4 LED source rated 0.45W at 5V and 2600K, with candle, ambiance and work modes covering everything from a flickering dinner glow to genuine task light. A full charge takes 4 to 6 hours and gives up to 96 hours of use, varying with brightness, 12 to 17 hours on high, 22 to 30 on medium, and 70 to 95 hours on the lowest setting. Two is wet rated and measures 3.5 inches across and 8.3 inches tall, small enough to move between rooms or take outside.

Where It Works Best

The downward facing dome suits a dinner table where diners want to see each other rather than a bright shade, and works equally well beside a bed or in a reading corner where a gentle, contained pool of light is wanted. Being wet rated, it can also move onto a covered terrace without needing a different lamp for outdoors.

Made By Humble

Founded in Amsterdam in 2018 by Jorren Teertstra with fellow Dutch industrial design engineers Gert, Tom, Lenny and Douwe, Humble set out to replace candlelight with a genuinely wireless alternative. Two channels that same flicker free warmth into a shade built to light a table rather than a room.

Questions People Ask

Is beige hard to keep looking clean? The aluminium finish wipes clean easily and does not show marks any more than the darker finishes.

Can I read by this lamp? Work mode is bright enough for casual reading close by, though it is designed primarily for ambient rather than close task lighting.

How long does the lowest setting really last? Around 70 to 95 hours per charge, comfortably enough for weeks of evening use before it needs topping up.
