Choosing Black

Matte black is the most neutral of One's finishes, working in almost any setting without competing with other colours or materials nearby. For a warmer, more textured alternative in the same shape, the wood or cinnamon finishes are the alternative.

How It Works

One charges on a Qi wireless dock or via the included USB-C cable, 4 to 6 hours for up to 140 hours of light on its lowest of three brightness levels. Its exposed E27 bulb is fully replaceable, and the lamp's modular, battery powered build means every part is designed to be maintained rather than thrown away. It carries an IP65 rating and comes complete with the lamp, its LED bulb, a USB-C cable and a storage bag.

Made By Humble

Humble was founded in Amsterdam in 2018 by Jorren Teertstra and fellow Dutch industrial design engineers Gert, Tom, Lenny and Douwe, with the aim of a wireless alternative to candlelight. One was their first product, and this matte black finish remains the most direct expression of that original, versatile design.
