Gold gives the base a polished, warm presence, and the frosted shade spreads that light evenly across the room rather than concentrating it in one spot. If a deeper, more contained glow is preferred instead from the same gold base, the smoked shade is the alternative.

How It Works

Firefly charges on a Qi wireless dock or via the included USB-C cable, taking 4 to 6 hours for up to 140 hours of light on its lowest setting. Built from aluminium and polycarbonate with silicone seals, it carries an IP65 rating and is controlled from the remote or a button on its underside. It measures 8.6cm across, 11.8cm tall, weighs 0.57lbs, and its warm 2200K colour temperature stays consistent across all three dimmable settings.

Made By Humble

Founded in Amsterdam in 2018 by Jorren Teertstra alongside fellow Dutch industrial design engineers Gert, Tom, Lenny and Douwe, Humble set out to build a wireless alternative to candlelight. Firefly puts that idea into practice, a lamp designed to move as freely as a naked flame while carrying none of its risk.
