Air is Humble's most sculptural design yet, built from lightweight aluminium with a minimalist silhouette that suits modern bedrooms, dining tables and consoles alike. This gold finish pairs with a smoked shade for a deeper, more atmospheric glow.

Choosing Gold and Smoked

Gold brings a polished warmth to Air's slender aluminium form, and the smoked shade holds its light close and amber rather than spreading it wide. For a brighter, more evenly diffused glow from the same gold body, the frosted shade is the alternative.

How It Works

Air runs at a warm 2500K and offers a three step dimmer, controlled either from its base or a remote. Charging is via the included USB-C cable or an optional charging station, giving 100 to 140 hours of light on the lowest setting and 20 to 28 hours on the highest. Built from aluminium and polycarbonate, it carries an IP65 rating, keeping it suitable for damp conditions as well as dry indoor rooms.

Where It Works Best

Air's IP65 rating and minimalist form suit a dining table or console where a sculptural but genuinely useful lamp is wanted, and its smoked shade's deeper glow works particularly well on a bedside table or a dinner setting after dark. Its lightweight build also makes it easy to move between rooms as needed.

Made By Humble

Humble was founded in Amsterdam in 2018 by Jorren Teertstra and fellow Dutch industrial design engineers Gert, Tom, Lenny and Douwe, with the aim of a wireless alternative to candlelight. Air represents the newest expression of that idea, refining the same cordless principle into their most sculptural design so far.
