A slender brass stem rises from a round base and branches into three cone shaped shades, each one angled and adjustable on its own joint so you can aim light exactly where you need it, up for general glow, down for a task, or off to the side to wash a wall. The brass finish

Each of the three cone shades is finished in a warm, polished brass that catches the light along its curved edges, giving the lamp a bit of shine and presence rather than disappearing into the background. The stem continues the same brass tone up from the base, so the metalwork reads as one continuous piece. At the foot, a round wood veneer disc grounds the design, its darker, grained surface giving the brass something to contrast against and adding a touch of warmth underfoot. How it works

Each of the three shades takes its own E14 bulb (not included; houseof recommends a 5W E14 LED), so you can light one, two or all three depending on the mood you're after, and each shade swivels independently on its arm to point light where it's wanted. The lamp runs from the mains via a UK plug on the end of its cable, with a simple inline switch, so there's no wiring involved, just stand it up, screw in your bulbs, and plug it in. Some light assembly is needed to fix the arms and shades to the stem and base out of the box. It's a Class 2, double insulated fitting.
