The Zelda 5 Light Chandelier scales up Hinkley's sphere and column shape into a genuinely large fitting for rooms that can take it. This is a large fitting: a drop that adjusts from 55.6cm to 205.6cm, with a 68.6cm diameter. Please check these measurements against your space before ordering.
Polished Nickel finish
The frame is finished in Polished Nickel, a bright, reflective metal that reads as cool and contemporary rather than warm. Five bowed steel arms carry tapered etched glass shades, each sitting on its own hemisphere cup along the graduated sphere column. The etched glass softens the light and adds texture against the polished metal. If you would prefer a cooler, brighter metal tone, this chandelier is also available in a Chrome finish.
How it works
This is a five light chandelier, hung from a single central ceiling point. It takes 5 x E27 bulbs, which are not supplied, so you will need to add your own. It is dimmable if you fit dimmable bulbs. The fitting is Class I, which means it needs to be earthed. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.
Where it works best
Its scale suits dining rooms, living rooms and hallways with good ceiling height, where the full drop of the sphere column can be seen properly. It also works in a large bedroom with a high ceiling. Because the drop adjusts up to 205.6cm, it can be set for a double height stairwell or brought down closer to a standard ceiling.
The story behind Hinkley
Hinkley started out in 1922 as a small outdoor lantern maker in Cleveland, Ohio, with a debut catalogue of just 14 products. A piece the size of this five light Zelda chandelier shows how far the company has grown from those beginnings. By around 2000 the fourth generation, Kristi, Jess and Eric Wiedemer, had begun taking on leadership roles, and between 2019 and 2020 the company simplified its name from Hinkley Lighting to Hinkley as it expanded into ceiling fans. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has manufactured Hinkley's designs, including this Zelda chandelier, for the UK and Europe, converting each fitting to 220 to 240V wiring with full CE certification.

Is this chandelier dimmable? Yes, it's dimmable as long as you fit dimmable LED bulbs. Bulbs without dimming capability will not allow it to dim.
Are bulbs included? No, bulbs are not supplied. You will need 5 x E27 bulbs, and LED is a good choice for lower running costs and less heat.
