A statement pendant with real reach
The Hinkley Wexley 3 Light Pendant is built around a bold, oval shaped clear glass shade, with cast details and crystal accents that give it a vintage flavour on an otherwise modern silhouette. It is also a genuinely large fitting, with a drop that adjusts from 61.2cm up to 217.3cm (a shorter maximum of 152.4cm is also available depending on how the chain is set), so there's real scope to hang it low over a table or higher in a taller room.

Heritage Brass gives Wexley a warm, rich metal tone that sits well with the crystal accents and clear glass rather than competing with them. Underneath the finish, the frame is steel, so there's real weight and structure behind the decorative details.
How it works
Three E14 bulbs sit behind the oval glass shade, giving a fuller, more layered light than a single pendant would. Bulbs are not supplied, so you will need to add your own, and Wexley works with dimmable bulbs if you would like that option. This is a Class I fitting, which means it needs to be properly earthed. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting, especially given its size and adjustable drop.
Where it works best
Wexley is designed to hang low as a statement piece, over a dining table or kitchen island, where its scale and reach can really show. It also suits an entrance hall or a stairwell with enough height, given how far the drop extends.
The story behind Hinkley
Hinkley started out in 1922, when Phil R. Hinkley set up in Cleveland, Ohio, with a debut catalogue of just 14 outdoor lantern designs. After Phil died in 1937, Stanley Wiedemer took full ownership and moved his family from Kansas City to Cleveland to run the company himself, and it has stayed under Wiedemer family control ever since, with Rick Wiedemer joining as third generation in 1969 and Kristi, Jess and Eric Wiedemer taking on leadership from around 2000. A statement piece like Wexley, with its scale and crystal detailing, is a long way from that first 14 product lantern catalogue, though it is still the same family business behind it. Elstead Lighting has manufactured and adapted Hinkley's designs for the UK and Europe since 2012, converting fittings like this one to 220 to 240V wiring with full CE certification.

Is this pendant dimmable? Yes. Wexley works with dimmable bulbs, so if you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and use a compatible dimmer switch, you can adjust the light level. It is not supplied with a built in dimmer.
Are bulbs included? No. Wexley takes 3 x E14 bulbs, which are not supplied, so you will need to choose your own before installing it.
How big is this pendant, and how far does it drop? Wexley has a drop that adjusts from 61.2cm up to 217.3cm, with a shorter maximum setting of 152.4cm also available.
