This semi-flush fitting takes 3 x E14 bulbs, which aren't supplied, so you'll need to add these to your order. It's dimmable if you fit dimmable bulbs. This is a Class I fitting, which means it must be properly earthed. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

The story behind Hinkley

Hinkley began in 1922, when Phil R. Hinkley started out making outdoor lanterns in Cleveland, Ohio, with a debut catalogue of just 14 products. After Phil's death in 1937, Stanley Wiedemer, who had already bought half the company, took over fully and moved his family from Kansas City to Cleveland to run it. The business stayed in Wiedemer hands for generations after that, with Stanley's grandson Rick joining in 1969 and the fourth generation, Kristi, Jess and Eric, taking on leadership roles from around 2000. That same long view runs through pieces like this Truman semi-flush, a traditional design that Elstead Lighting has adapted for UK homes since 2012, converting it to 220 to 240V wiring with full CE certification.
