The Hampton collection's signature rectangular frame gets its biggest expression here, in a four light chandelier with an off-white linen drum shade and an etched acrylic lens at the base. Antique Nickel finish with a linen shade
The mild steel frame is finished in Antique Nickel, a cool, understated metal tone that pairs easily with both warm and cool colour schemes. The off-white linen shade wraps around the sides, softening the light, while the etched acrylic lens at the base spreads it evenly downward.
How it works
Four E27 LED bulbs sit behind the shade and lens, giving a warm, even spread of light across the room. Bulbs are not supplied, so you will need to order these separately. It is dimmable if you fit dimmable bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. This is a Class I fitting, which means it needs to be properly earthed. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

The story behind Hinkley
Hinkley started out in 1922 as a small outdoor lantern maker in Cleveland, Ohio, founded by Phil R. Hinkley with a debut catalogue of just fourteen products. The company stayed in the Wiedemer family for generations, from Stanley Wiedemer's purchase of the business in the 1930s through to his grandson Rick, who joined in 1969 for a career spanning fifty years. A chandelier like the Hampton, built as a proper ceiling centrepiece rather than a porch lantern, reflects how far the company has grown from that first catalogue of fourteen designs. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has manufactured and adapted Hinkley's designs for the UK, converting fittings like this one to 220 to 240V wiring with full CE certification.
