This is the larger of the two Graham duo mount sizes, and it is a genuinely wide fitting: 58.4cm across. It can hang as a pendant on the supplied rods, or sit close to the ceiling as a semi flush light, so it adapts to rooms with high ceilings and low ones alike. Lacquered brass and polycotton shades

The welded frame is finished in Lacquered Brass, a warm, lacquered metal tone that reads softer and more traditional than a plain polished or brushed finish. Either side of the frame sits an off-white polycotton shade with a faux parchment look, which glows gently once lit and keeps the four bulbs hidden from direct view.

How it works

The Graham duo mount takes 4 x E14 LED bulbs, which are not supplied, so you will need to add your own. It is dimmable if you fit dimmable bulbs. The fitting includes rods for a pendant hang, or can be fixed without them for a semi flush finish closer to the ceiling. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting. It is Class I, which means it must be properly earthed as part of installation.

The warmth of the Lacquered Brass finish and the softness of the parchment shades suit living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms looking for a more traditional tone than a plain metal pendant. The story behind Hinkley

Hinkley began in 1922, when Phil R. Hinkley started out making outdoor lanterns in Cleveland, Ohio, with a debut catalogue of just 14 pieces. The company stayed in the same family for decades. Stanley Wiedemer bought into the business in the 1930s and took full ownership after Phil's death in 1937, and his grandson Rick Wiedemer Jr joined in 1969 for a career spanning fifty years. By 2000 a fourth generation, Kristi, Jess and Eric Wiedemer, had begun taking on leadership roles, guiding the brand through its 2019 to 2020 move from the fuller name Hinkley Lighting to simply Hinkley. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has manufactured and adapted Hinkley's designs for the UK and Europe, converting fittings like this Graham duo mount to 220 to 240V wiring with full CE certification.
