The Polished Brass finish
Polished Brass gives this pendant a warm, glowing tone that suits its traditional cast detailing. Each of the six arms carries a clear glass panel shaped like a candle sleeve, adding a soft sparkle around the brass frame. It pairs naturally with warm woods, aged metals and other traditional finishes in a room.
How it works
This pendant hangs from a ceiling rose on an adjustable chain, giving you the flexibility to set the drop to suit your space. It takes 6 x E14 bulbs, which are not supplied, so you will need to order these separately. The fitting is dimmable if you use dimmable bulbs. It is a Class I fitting, which means it requires an earth connection. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

The story behind Hinkley
Hinkley's story starts a long way from a six light brass pendant like this one. When Phil R. Hinkley founded the company in Cleveland, Ohio in 1922, its debut catalogue held just fourteen products, mostly small outdoor lanterns. Ownership passed to the Wiedemer family in the 1930s, and by 1969 a third generation, Rick Wiedemer Jr, had joined for a career that would span fifty years at the company. A fourth generation, Kristi, Jess and Eric Wiedemer, began taking on leadership around 2000, steering the business toward larger, more architectural pieces like the Gentry range. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has manufactured and adapted Hinkley's designs for the UK and Europe, converting fittings such as this one to 220 to 240V wiring with full CE certification.
