A single drop of Gemma sparkle
The Gemma Single Mini Pendant takes the collection's rectangular amber pearl and clear crystal prisms and drops them from a single point, in a compact Vintage Bronze frame. It works well used on its own above a small table, or repeated in multiples for a wider run of light and sparkle.
Vintage Bronze finish
The frame is finished in Vintage Bronze, a warm, aged metal tone set against a mild steel construction. It gives the amber pearl and clear crystal prisms a jewellery box setting, and sits comfortably in a room with warmer, more traditional tones.
How it works
This pendant takes a single E27 LED bulb, which isn't included, so you'll need to add one when you order. The drop is adjustable, from a minimum of 52.1cm up to a maximum of 141.6cm, so it can be set to suit different ceiling heights. It's wired to Class I electrical standards, which means it needs a proper earth connection. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

The story behind Hinkley
Hinkley started in 1922 as a small outdoor lantern maker in Cleveland, Ohio, founded by Phil R. Hinkley with a debut catalogue of just fourteen products. When Phil fell ill with tuberculosis in the mid 1930s, he sold half the business to Stanley Wiedemer, a travelling salesman from Kansas City, and Stanley bought the rest after Phil died in 1937. Stanley moved his family to Cleveland to run the company, and three more generations of Wiedemers have led it since, including Stanley's grandson Rick, who joined in 1969 for a fifty year career. This Gemma pendant belongs to that long, family run story: since 2012, Elstead Lighting has adapted Hinkley's designs like this one for UK homes, converting them to 220 to 240V wiring with full CE certification.
