The Gemma 2 Light Wall Light in Silver Leaf takes the collection's signature rectangular prisms of amber pearl and clear crystal and sets them inside a cooler, more contemporary frame. It has the same faceted sparkle as the Vintage Bronze version of Gemma, just with a lighter, cooler edge that suits rooms with a more neutral colour palette.

The frame is mild steel finished in Silver Leaf, a soft, neutral tone that reads more contemporary than the warmer Vintage Bronze option. It works well against pale or cool wall colours and pairs easily with chrome, nickel or glass fittings elsewhere in the room.

How it works

This wall light takes 2 x E14 LED bulbs, which aren't included, so you'll need to add these to your order. It's dimmable if you fit dimmable bulbs. The fitting is Class I, which means it needs to be earthed. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

The story behind Hinkley

Hinkley began in 1922 as a small outdoor lantern maker in Cleveland, Ohio, with a debut catalogue of just 14 products. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has manufactured and adapted Hinkley's designs for the UK and Europe, converting fittings like this one to 220 to 240V wiring with full CE certification. That broader, more varied range is part of what led the company to simplify its name from Hinkley Lighting to simply Hinkley between 2019 and 2020.
