How it works

A single lamp sits within the tubular glass diffuser, creating a soft column of light along the frame. This fitting doesn't come with a bulb, so you'll need to add one to your order. It may require some simple assembly to arrive in perfect condition, and Moonlight Design recommends installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Cordillera is IP44 rated, so it copes well with rain and splashing outdoors, while its sleek design also suits interior use in a hallway or stairwell. Available in Burnished Bronze or Black, it's a genuinely flexible option for both exterior and interior schemes.

The story behind Hinkley

A hundred years separate Phil R. Hinkley's first small lantern company in 1922 Cleveland, Ohio, from a design as pared back as Cordillera, yet the same underlying idea, well made lighting with genuine attention to detail, runs through both. Elstead Lighting has manufactured Hinkley's designs for the UK and Europe since 2012, adapting fittings such as this Burnished Bronze Cordillera wall light to 220 to 240V wiring and CE certification.
