This single Cello wall light takes the collection's flowing, bowed uprights and brings them into a compact wall mounted piece just 21cm high. It's a way to bring the same traditional design into a kitchen or dining room without the scale of a chandelier.

Antique Bronze with faux alabaster glass

Finished in Antique Bronze, this wall light pairs curved mild steel uprights with a single vintage style faux alabaster glass shade. The warm bronze tone and softly textured glass work well against darker walls, wood panelling or traditional wallpaper.

How it works

This is a single bulb wall light taking one E27 LED bulb, which isn't supplied so you'll need to add one to your order. It's dimmable if dimmable bulbs are used, and fixes to the wall via a standard mounting plate. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting. It's a Class I fitting, which means it must be properly earthed.

The story behind Hinkley

Richard "Rick" Wiedemer joined Hinkley in 1969, the third generation of the family to run the business his grandfather Stanley Wiedemer had taken over after founder Phil Hinkley's death in 1937. Rick went on to lead the company for fifty years, a hands-on grounding that shaped the quality Hinkley still builds into pieces at every scale, from full chandeliers down to a single wall light like this one. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has adapted Hinkley's designs for the UK, converting fittings such as this Cello wall light to 220 to 240V wiring and giving it full CE certification.
