Harte Vintage Tear Drop 0.91m Wall Light - Galvanised Steel & Copper Head

This 0.91 metre wall light pairs the taller of Harte's two Vintage Tear Drop wall light sizes with a copper head, giving more presence on the wall than the 0.46 metre version and a warmer tone than the all steel finish.

Galvanised steel and a copper head

The arm and body are galvanised steel, finished in gloss black, while the tear drop head is formed in copper and left in its natural tone rather than painted. It's a genuine material swap rather than a colour option, and Harte's lifetime guarantee against cracking, bending or breaking applies to the steel elements; as a copper part, the head falls outside that particular guarantee.

How it works

A clear polycarbonate lens diffuses light from within the head, held out from the wall on a curved steel arm. It mounts directly to a wall and requires a mains wiring connection, best carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

The extra height and reach suit taller walls, gable ends or larger entrances, and the copper head adds a point of contrast against stone, brick or dark render where a plain black fixture might otherwise blend in.

Harte, Irish craft since 1983

This wall light comes from Harte Outdoor Lighting, a family run manufacturer based in New Ross, County Wexford, founded by Willie Harte in 1983 and carried on today by Liz Harte and the next generation, including Jack and Sam Harte. Harte says its lighting is installed at notable Irish locations including Áras an Uachtaráin, Adare Manor and the K Club, alongside private homes and gardens across Ireland and the UK.
