Harte Vintage Tear Drop 0.91m Wall Light - Galvanised Steel

At 0.91 metres, this is the taller of Harte's two Vintage Tear Drop wall lights, giving more reach out from the wall than the 0.46 metre version while keeping the same curved arm and tear drop head that give the Goose Neck collection its name.

Galvanised steel build

Built entirely from galvanised steel, chosen for its resistance to rust and weathering, this light is finished in gloss black as standard, with other colours available on request. Harte also makes this design with a hand spun copper head, but this version stays consistent in steel and black from arm to lantern.

How it works

The tear drop head uses a clear polycarbonate lens to diffuse the light, held out from the wall on a curved steel arm. It fixes directly to a wall and needs a mains wiring connection, which we recommend having fitted by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its extra reach suits taller walls, gable ends or larger entrances where a small fixture would look lost, and it works equally well either side of a front door or spaced along a boundary wall.

Harte, Irish craft since 1983

This wall light is made by Harte Outdoor Lighting, a family run manufacturer based in New Ross, County Wexford, founded by Willie Harte in 1983 and now led by Liz Harte and the next generation, including Jack and Sam Harte. Harte says its lighting is installed at notable Irish locations including Áras an Uachtaráin, Adare Manor and the K Club, as well as private homes and gardens across Ireland and the UK.
