Harte Vintage Tear Drop 0.46m Wall Light - Galvanised Steel

This 0.46 metre wall light is the smallest fixture in Harte's Vintage Tear Drop range, part of the Goose Neck collection named for the curved arm that carries its tear drop shaped lantern, in the same manner as the gooseneck lamps once used around farmyards.

Galvanised steel build

The fixture is built from galvanised steel throughout, chosen for its resistance to rust and weather over time. It is finished in gloss black as standard, with other colours available on request. Harte also offers this design with a hand spun copper head for a different look, but this version keeps a single, consistent steel finish from arm to lantern.

How it works

A clear polycarbonate lens diffuses the light from within the tear drop head, and the curved arm projects the lantern out from the wall. It mounts directly to a wall and needs a mains wiring connection, which we recommend having fitted by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its small scale makes it a natural fit for a front door, a boundary wall, a porch or a narrow side passage, anywhere a low key, functional light is wanted rather than a large statement fixture.

Harte, Irish craft since 1983

This wall light comes from Harte Outdoor Lighting, a family run manufacturer based in New Ross, County Wexford, making outdoor lighting since 1983 under founder Willie Harte and now led by Liz Harte and the next generation, including Jack and Sam Harte. Harte says its lighting can be found at locations such as Áras an Uachtaráin, Adare Manor and the K Club, alongside homes and gardens across Ireland and the UK.
