Harte Victorian Traditional 2.6m Lamp Post - Cast Iron

Standing 2.6 metres tall, this lamp post is a step up in height from Harte's 2.3 metre post, built for driveways, walkways and patio areas where a wider lighting spread is wanted. It follows the same Victorian lamp post design used across the Traditional range.

Cast iron construction

Cast in iron with galvanised steel used in its construction, the post carries a lantern finished in the standard gloss black, with other colours available on request.

How it works

The extra height over Harte's shorter post lets the light spread further before it reaches the ground, covering more of a driveway or path from each post. A fixed base and mains wiring are required, and a qualified electrician should carry out the connection.

Where it works best

Choose this height where posts are spaced further apart or the driveway is wider than average, and a taller post is needed to keep the lit area consistent along its length.

Harte, Irish craft since 1983

Harte Outdoor Lighting has made cast iron and steel lighting from its workshop in New Ross, County Wexford, since 1983. The family business was founded by Willie Harte and is carried on by Liz Harte and the next generation, Jack and Sam Harte, and Harte says the same cast iron construction sits behind lighting installed at Irish locations including Áras an Uachtaráin, Adare Manor and the K Club.
