Harte Victorian Style Large 3.3m Double Headed Lamp Post - Cast Iron

This 3.3 metre lamp post carries two lantern heads on a single cast iron post, part of Harte's Traditional range and scaled down from a larger original Victorian design. It's built for driveways and grounds where one fixture needs to cover more ground than a single headed post.

Cast iron and galvanised steel build

The post and both lantern heads are cast in iron, with galvanised steel used through the construction for strength, and each head is glazed with hand cut glass lenses set around E27 bulb holders. The standard finish is gloss black, with other colours available on request.

How it works

Each of the two heads holds its own E27 bulb behind hand cut glass, so light comes from two separate points on the post rather than one, giving a broader spread than a single headed post of the same height. It needs mains wiring and a substantial fixed base, and we recommend a qualified electrician carry out the installation.

Where it works best

At 3.3 metres with two heads, this lamp post suits wide driveway entrances, long approaches and larger properties where the scale of the house calls for a taller, more substantial fixture. It also works well as a single feature post rather than a repeated run.

Harte, Irish craft since 1983

Harte Outdoor Lighting has worked from New Ross, County Wexford, since 1983, founded by Willie Harte and now run by Liz Harte and the next generation, Jack and Sam Harte.
