Harte Victorian Style Large 1.47m Globe Wall Light With Decorative Arm - Steel

This 1.47 metre wall light is the largest wall mounted piece in Harte's Heritage Globe range, pairing a decorative arm with a full sized globe head for a fixture with real presence on larger walls. It's modelled on an original Victorian lamp post design.

Cast iron and galvanised steel build

The arm and globe head are made from a combination of cast iron and galvanised steel, and a clear polycarbonate lens sits inside the globe to protect the light source while keeping it visible from every angle. The standard finish is gloss black, with other colours available on request.

How it works

The decorative arm holds the globe well away from the wall, so at this size light spreads generously around the fixture rather than washing down the wall surface behind it. It runs from mains power and needs a solid wall fixing capable of taking its weight, so installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 1.47 metres, this is a statement wall light suited to large facades, gable walls, or entrances on bigger period or country properties where a smaller wall light would be lost. It also pairs well with matching lamp posts elsewhere on the same property.

Harte, Irish craft since 1983

Harte Outdoor Lighting has made cast iron and steel lighting from New Ross, County Wexford, since 1983, when Willie Harte set up the workshop that Liz Harte and the next generation, Jack and Sam, now carry forward. Harte says the same construction is behind lighting installed at Áras an Uachtaráin, Adare Manor and the K Club.
