Harte Victorian Style 3.4m Globe Lamp Post Double Headed - Cast Iron

Taller than Harte's other double headed lamp post, this 3.4 metre post pairs real height with two globe heads, giving wide reaching light from a single fixture. The design takes its cues from an original Victorian lamp post, part of the Heritage Globe range.

Cast iron and galvanised steel build

The post and both globe heads are cast iron, with galvanised steel used through the construction for added strength, and clear polycarbonate lenses fitted inside each globe preserve the vintage look while diffusing the light well. The standard finish is gloss black, with other colours available on request.

How it works

With two globe heads glowing outward at this height, the post covers a broader stretch of ground than a single headed post of the same scale, useful where one fixture needs to do the work of two. It needs mains wiring and a substantial fixed base, and installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 3.4 metres, this double headed post suits long driveways, estate entrances and open grounds where height and a wider light spread both matter. It also works well as a single feature post at a main entrance rather than a repeated run.

Harte, Irish craft since 1983

Willie Harte founded Harte Outdoor Lighting in New Ross, County Wexford, in 1983, and the business is now carried on by Liz Harte and the next generation, Jack and Sam Harte. Harte says its lighting is installed at Adare Manor, the K Club and Áras an Uachtaráin, alongside private estates across Ireland and the UK.
