Harte Victorian 2.7m Globe Lamp Post - Cast Iron

Standing 2.7 metres tall, this lamp post is one of the larger single headed posts in Harte's Heritage Globe range, cast in iron and modelled on an authentic Victorian original. The scale puts the globe head well above eye level, giving it real presence after dark.

Cast iron construction

The post and globe head are built from cast iron, with intricate cast detailing running down the shaft to the base. The standard finish is gloss black, with other colours available on request.

How it works

The light sits inside the rounded globe head, so it glows outward in every direction rather than throwing a single beam downward, giving a warm, inviting presence rather than a hard pool of light. As with all Harte lamp posts, it needs mains wiring and a fixed base, and we recommend a qualified electrician handle the connection.

Where it works best

At 2.7 metres, this lamp post works well marking a driveway entrance, standing at the corner of a courtyard, or lining an approach in pairs. Its height and detailing suit period homes, estates and larger gardens.

Harte, Irish craft since 1983

Harte Outdoor Lighting has worked from New Ross, County Wexford, since 1983, when Willie Harte founded the business that Liz Harte and the next generation, Jack and Sam Harte, now carry forward.
