Harte Victorian 1.54m Traditional Pedestal Light - Cast Iron

Standing at 1.54 metres, this pedestal light is a tall freestanding fitting from Harte's Traditional range, closer in scale to a small lamp post than the range's shorter pedestal lights. It takes its lantern styling from original Victorian outdoor lighting.

Cast iron construction

Cast in iron with galvanised steel used in its construction, the post carries a lantern glazed with a hand cut glass lens. It takes an E27 bulb and comes in the standard gloss black finish, with other colours available on request.

How it works

At this height, the light source sits well above eye level, spreading light down and around the post rather than concentrating it in a tight pool at ground level. It needs a fixed base and mains wiring, best installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its height suits open lawns, the edge of a driveway, or a spot where you want more reach than a low pedestal light gives without stepping up to a full lamp post.
