Harte Victorian 1.1m Traditional Wall Light With Decorative Arm - Cast Iron

This 1.1 metre wall light is among the taller arm mounted fittings in Harte's Traditional range, its lantern carried on a decorative cast iron arm in the style of an original Victorian design. The added height gives it a more commanding presence than the range's smaller wall lights.

Decorative cast iron arm

Cast in iron, the arm extends the lantern away from the wall, glazed with hand cut glass and fitted with an E27 bulb holder. It is finished in the standard gloss black, with other colours available on request.

How it works

The extended arm holds the light source further from the wall than a flush fitting would, throwing light out and down over a wider area, which suits larger walls and taller doorways where reach matters as much as brightness.

Where it works best

Its height makes this wall light suited to larger properties, high walls or entrances where a smaller fitting would be lost against the scale of the building.

Harte, Irish craft since 1983

Harte Outdoor Lighting has cast iron and steel lighting at its workshop in New Ross, County Wexford, since 1983. The family business was founded by Willie Harte and is carried forward by Liz Harte and the next generation, Jack and Sam Harte, and Harte says the same cast iron construction sits behind lighting installed at Irish locations including Áras an Uachtaráin, Adare Manor and the K Club.
