Harte Victorian 0.7m Traditional Pier Light For Flat Pier Caps - Cast Iron

This 0.7 metre pier light is one of Harte's best selling pier fittings, sized for flat topped entrance piers and patio walls. It carries the same Victorian lantern design used across the Traditional range, scaled to suit a larger pier.

Cast iron and steel construction

The lantern is cast in iron, sitting on a galvanised steel mounting disc 0.28 metres in diameter to match a flat pier cap of that size. Hand cut glass glazing and an E27 bulb holder complete the fitting, finished in the standard gloss black with other colours available on request.

How it works

Because it sits flat and central on the pier, light spreads evenly in every direction around the fitting, marking the entrance clearly from the driveway, path or road rather than favouring one side.

Where it works best

At 0.7 metres, it suits substantial entrance piers, patio walls or gateposts where a larger mounting disc is needed. For narrower piers, Harte makes smaller pier lights in the same range with a reduced mounting disc.

Harte Outdoor Lighting has made cast iron and steel lighting from its workshop in New Ross, County Wexford, since 1983. The business was founded by Willie Harte and continues under Liz Harte and the next generation, Jack and Sam Harte, and Harte says the same cast iron construction sits behind lighting installed at Irish locations including Áras an Uachtaráin, Adare Manor and the K Club.
