Harte Georgian Style 2.55m Lamp Post - Cast Iron & Steel

This 2.55 metre lamp post is among the taller pieces in Harte's Courtyard range, built to give a driveway or entrance the kind of presence a shorter fixture can't match. Its cast iron and steel construction and cylindrical, Georgian inspired shade follow the same design language as the rest of the range, scaled up.

Cast iron and steel build

Made from cast iron and steel, it's built to hold its shape and finish through years of outdoor use. Harte says the cast iron and steel elements of its products carry a lifetime guarantee against cracking, bending or breaking under normal conditions, with exclusions for surface finish, electrical components, copper and aluminium products, and damage caused during installation. It comes in gloss black as standard, with other colours available on request.

How it works

An E27 bulb sits behind cylindrical polycarbonate glazing that spreads the light outward, while the ornate cast iron cap above encloses the housing, reducing upward light spill and directing the beam down. It requires a mains wiring connection and a fixed base, and we recommend a qualified electrician carries out the wiring.

Where it works best

Its height suits a long driveway, the entrance to a larger property, or grounds where the light needs to be visible from a distance. Positioned at intervals along a drive, it gives a consistent line of light without needing a fixture at every few metres.

Harte, Irish craft since 1983

This lamp post is produced by Harte Outdoor Lighting, a family run manufacturer based in New Ross, County Wexford, making cast iron outdoor lighting since 1983. Harte says its lighting is installed at notable Irish locations including Áras an Uachtaráin, Adare Manor and the K Club, as well as private estates, hospitality venues and commercial projects across Ireland and the UK.
