Harte Decorative 0.95m Bollard Light With Frosted Lens - Cast Iron

The H193 is the largest of Harte's cast iron bollard lights, standing at 0.95 metres, the tallest of the three sizes in the range. Its larger scale suits driveways, walkways and garden corners where a more prominent marker is wanted, while keeping the same low level, ambient character as the smaller bollards.

Cast iron build and finish

Cast in iron and fitted with a frosted polycarbonate lens, the H193 is built to the same standard as the rest of the Gate Lodge range. Harte says the cast iron elements of its lighting carry a lifetime guarantee against cracking, bending or breaking under normal conditions, with exclusions for surface finish, electrical components, and damage caused during installation. The standard finish is gloss black, with other colours available on request.

How it works

The frosted lens diffuses the light source into a soft, even glow rather than a hard point of light. Being the tallest bollard in the range, the H193 sits a little higher off the ground, but still directs light downward and outward at ground level, keeping the same low glare, ambient character as the rest of the range.

Where it works best

Its larger scale suits longer driveways, bigger garden corners or wider paths, anywhere a taller, more visible bollard reads better than the smaller sizes in the range.

Harte's Gate Lodge range

The H193 belongs to Harte's Gate Lodge range of cast iron bollard lights. Harte says small bollard lights from this range are used as pathway and driveway lighting at Adare Manor, one of several notable Irish locations, alongside Áras an Uachtaráin and the K Club, where Harte lighting has been installed. Harte Outdoor Lighting is a family run manufacturer based in New Ross, County Wexford, making cast iron lighting since 1983, founded by Willie Harte and now carried forward by Liz Harte and the next generation, including Jack and Sam Harte.
