Harte Decorative 0.7m Bollard Light With Frosted Lens - Cast Iron

The H194 is the medium sized bollard in Harte's cast iron range, standing at 0.7 metres. It sits between the smaller and larger versions in scale, giving a bit more height and presence for driveways and garden corners that call for slightly more than the smallest bollard offers.

Cast iron build and finish

Built from cast iron with a frosted polycarbonate lens, the H194 is made to hold up outdoors over many years. Harte says the cast iron elements of its lighting carry a lifetime guarantee against cracking, bending or breaking under normal conditions, with exclusions for surface finish, electrical components, and damage caused during installation. The standard finish is gloss black, with other colours available on request.

How it works

Light passes through the frosted lens and spreads evenly around the bollard rather than shining as a single bright point, giving a soft, low level glow. This keeps the light close to the ground, useful for marking a route or corner without competing with taller lighting nearby.

Where it works best

At 0.7 metres, the H194 works well spaced along a driveway, set at the corners of a garden bed, or used to line a wider path where the smallest bollard might feel too low. It holds its own as a visible feature during the day as well as after dark.

Harte's Gate Lodge range
