Harte Decorative 0.43m Bollard Light With Frosted Lens - Cast Iron

The H195 is the smallest of Harte's cast iron bollard lights, standing at 0.43 metres and built for low level lighting along paths, driveway edges and garden corners. It brings a soft, ground hugging glow to spaces where a taller lamp post would be too much, without losing the same solid ironwork character.

Cast iron build and finish

The H195 is cast in iron and fitted with a frosted polycarbonate lens. Harte says the cast iron elements of its lighting carry a lifetime guarantee against cracking, bending or breaking under normal conditions, with exclusions for surface finish, electrical components, and damage caused during installation. The standard finish is gloss black, with other colours available on request.

How it works

The frosted lens softens the light source rather than exposing it directly, spreading a gentle, even glow around the base of the bollard. Light is cast outward and downward at ground level, marking the edge of a path or drive without throwing glare upward or into windows nearby.

Where it works best

At 0.43 metres, the H195 suits the tightest, lowest level spots: lining a short run of steps, marking the corner of a flower bed, or spacing along a narrow path where anything taller would crowd the view. As the smallest fixture in the range, it reads as a quiet marker rather than a feature light.

Harte's Gate Lodge range

The H195 belongs to Harte's Gate Lodge range of cast iron bollard lights. Harte says small bollard lights from this range are used as pathway and driveway lighting at Adare Manor, one of several notable Irish locations, alongside Áras an Uachtaráin and the K Club, where Harte lighting has been installed. Harte Outdoor Lighting is a family run manufacturer based in New Ross, County Wexford, making cast iron lighting since 1983, a business founded by Willie Harte and now carried forward by Liz Harte and the next generation, including Jack and Sam Harte.
