Harte Contemporary 2.7m Lamp Post - Galvanised Steel

At 2.7 metres, this lamp post is the tallest piece in Harte's BARE range and was designed by Jack Harte, a landscape architect who has worked on several of Harte's contemporary pieces. It takes the same plain, geometric approach as the rest of the BARE range, built in galvanised steel rather than the cast iron used on Harte's period posts.

The post is made from galvanised steel, topped with a hand cut glass lantern.

How it works

It requires a fixed base and a mains wiring connection run up through the post to the lantern at the top. We recommend a qualified electrician handle the wiring and a competent tradesperson set the base.

Where it works best

Its extra height suits driveways and patios where a taller point of light is needed to cover more ground. Harte says its greater height gives it a broader spread of light than the range's shorter, 1.8 metre lamp post, making it the choice for larger entrances.

This lamp post is made by Harte Outdoor Lighting, a family run manufacturer based in New Ross, County Wexford, producing outdoor lighting since 1983. Harte says its lighting is installed at notable Irish locations including Áras an Uachtaráin, Adare Manor and the K Club, alongside private homes and estates across Ireland and the UK.
