Harte Contemporary 1.8m Lamp Post - Galvanised Steel

Standing 1.8 metres tall, this lamp post belongs to Harte's BARE range, a modern counterpart to the brand's traditional cast iron posts. In place of ornate ironwork, it's built with the plain, geometric lines of galvanised steel and hand cut glass, giving it a sleeker, more architectural look.

The post is made from galvanised steel, with a hand cut glass lantern that sits at the top rather than an enclosed housing, keeping the overall form slim.

How it works

It requires a fixed base and a mains wiring connection run up through the post. We recommend a qualified electrician handle the wiring and a competent tradesperson set the base.

At 1.8 metres, it suits lighting a driveway or lining a walkway, giving a steady point of light without dominating the space the way a taller post can. Its clean lined form sits comfortably against contemporary render or glazing.

This lamp post is made by Harte Outdoor Lighting, a family run manufacturer based in New Ross, County Wexford, producing outdoor lighting since 1983. Harte says its lighting is installed at notable Irish locations including Áras an Uachtaráin, Adare Manor and the K Club, alongside private homes and estates across Ireland and the UK.
