Harte Contemporary 0.5m Wall Light - Galvanised Steel With Wall Bracket

The BRW2 stands 0.5 metres tall and, unlike Harte's flush mounted BARE lights, projects out from the wall on a bracket. That short bracket holds the lantern away from the wall surface, giving a more even spread of light than a fitting mounted flat against it.

Galvanised steel and hand cut glass

Built from galvanised steel with hand cut glass, the BRW2 keeps to the BARE range's straight lined, angular styling rather than the ornate castings used on Harte's period lanterns.

How it works

The bracket carries the light source away from the wall, which reduces the shadow a flush fitting can cast directly beneath it. It connects to mains wiring, and we recommend a qualified electrician carry out the wiring connection and check the wall can take the bracket fixing.

Where it works best

At a standard 0.5 metres, it works well fitted as a pair either side of a front door or entrance, where the bracket's projection helps light the approach rather than just the wall itself. It also suits a single position beside a porch or garden doorway.

Harte, Irish craft since 1983

This wall light is made by Harte Outdoor Lighting, a family run manufacturer based in New Ross, County Wexford, producing outdoor lighting since 1983. Harte says its lighting is installed at notable Irish locations including Áras an Uachtaráin, Adare Manor and the K Club, alongside private homes and hospitality venues across Ireland and the UK.
