Harte Contemporary 0.38m Pier Light - Galvanised Steel

Standing 0.38 metres tall, the BRP2 is a pier light designed to sit on top of a gate pier or low pillar rather than mount to a wall. It follows Harte's BARE range styling, with the straight lines and flat planes that set this galvanised steel range apart from Harte's more traditional cast iron lanterns.

Galvanised steel and hand cut glass

The housing is galvanised steel with hand cut glass, giving the lit glass a slightly uneven, handmade texture rather than a perfectly flat pane.

How it works

Sitting directly on top of a pier or pillar, it needs a flat fixing surface and a mains wiring connection run up through the pier. We recommend a qualified electrician handle the wiring connection and a competent tradesperson confirm the pier can take the fixing.

Where it works best

At this standard size, the BRP2 is best used as a pair marking a driveway or patio entrance, where two matching lights either side of the opening frame the approach. Its compact scale suits piers of a similarly modest size rather than large entrance pillars.

Harte, Irish craft since 1983

This pier light comes from Harte Outdoor Lighting, a family run manufacturer based in New Ross, County Wexford, making outdoor lighting since 1983. Harte says its lighting is installed at notable Irish locations including Áras an Uachtaráin, Adare Manor and the K Club, alongside private homes, estates and projects across Ireland and the UK.
