Smoked glass gives this brass Grove wall light a softer, more subdued glow than the clearer finishes in the same range. The flower bud shade sits over a single E27 lamp holder, diffusing the light so it's easy on the eye rather than a sharp point of brightness, and the brass frame adds a bit of warmth and shine.
It works well as bedside lighting where you want something gentler than an overhead light, or fitted either side of a chimney breast in a living room. Being wall mounted, it's also a practical choice for hallways and landings where floor and surface space are limited.
